Matthew Senia

Matthew has a wealth of knowledge and experience in criminal law, his area of specialty is indictable crime. Matthew has been a practising lawyer for close to 20 years and was formerly a partner in a preeminent criminal defence firm before he joined the Office of Public Prosecutions in 2016 where he gained experience working on a wide variety of the most serious and complex indictable crime matters. In 2020, he became a Managing Principal Solicitor where he was responsible for managing a team of lawyers to meet operational requirements of the OPP in Western Victoria. He was also responsible for providing high level professional and technical leadership and advice within the organisation, as well as continuing to work on serious criminal cases. Matthew joined Gallant Law as a Managing Lawyer in August 2022.
